2025 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals draw sets the stage for showdown in Shenzhen

The 2025 Billie Jean King Cup by Gainbridge Finals draw has been revealed, setting the stage for an electrifying week of international team tennis. Set to take place from 16 to 21 September at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Arena in China, the Finals will feature eight nations competing in a knockout format.
Host nation China will join reigning world champions Italy as well as Qualifiers group winners Great Britain, Japan, Kazakhstan, Spain, United States and Finals debutants Ukraine, each vying for the prestigious title in the largest annual international team competition in women’s sport.
The draw ceremony took place at the Hilton hotel in Shenzhen, and was attended by David Haggerty (ITF President), Philip Mok (Board Member, ITF), Ilana Kloss (Chair of the Board, Billie Jean King Cup Limited), Kerstin Lutz (CEO, Billie Jean King Cup Limited), Wang Jing (ITF Referee), Liu Wenbin (President, Chinese Tennis Association), Ding Xianghua (Vice Director, Tennis Management Centre, General Administration of Sport of China), Mai Liang (Deputy President, Chinese Tennis Association), Zhang Hua (Vice Mayor of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government), Mo Shilong (Standing Committee Member of the Communist Party of China Nanshan District Committee), He Jianhui (Vice Director Shenzhen Cultural, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau) and Shen Mengying (Managing Director, BeiJing Guoti Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd.).

All ties at the Finals will comprise three matches – two singles matches followed by a doubles match. All matches will be played as best-of-three tiebreak sets.
