Historic Achievement: Ukraine’s Women’s National Team Reaches the Semifinals of the Billie Jean King Cup World Team Championship

At the end of 2023, the Svitolina Foundation was entrusted with the management of the Ukraine Women’s National Tennis Team to represent the country in the Billie Jean King Cup, the world’s premier team tennis championship, for a four-year period.

In November 2024, the Ukrainian team achieved a significant milestone by advancing to the final qualifying stage of the Billie Jean King Cup 2025.

The decisive matches for a place in the Finals took place on April 11–12, 2025, in Radom, Poland, where Ukraine’s players earned convincing victories over the teams of Poland and Switzerland.

Under the leadership of the Svitolina Foundation, Ukraine’s Women’s National Team reached the Finals of the Billie Jean King Cup for the first time in history.

The tournament was held from September 16 to 21, 2025, in Shenzhen, China.

This achievement highlights the key role of the Svitolina Foundation in developing Ukrainian sport on the international stage and in promoting Ukraine through athletic excellence.
